City of Jacksonville presents Camp #1209 with an Award


On May 8, 2014 the City of Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Historical Preservation Commission awarded Kirby-Smith Camp #1209 a Historical Preservation Award. The award commemorated the camp’s restoration and preservation work in the Old St. Joseph Cemetery which is located next to Old City Cemetery.
The Award was signed by the Mayor of Jacksonville Alvin Brown.
