Cemetery Work Day June 2014

On Saturday, June 21st, members of Kirby-Smith Camp #1209 met at Old City Cemetery in downtown Jacksonville for our monthly work day. After picking up trash in the cemetery and surrounding streets, we discussed future projects within the cemetery. Afterwards, we retreated to Confederate Park to pick up trash there as part of our community service. Thanks to all those who attended. Because of your support we have been able toachieve so much so far.

August Work Day at Old City Cemetery

On Saturday, August 23rd, members of Kirby-Smith Camp #1209 attended our monthly work day at Old City Cemetery. As per our agreement with the City of Jacksonville, trash was picked up along the roads surrounding the cemetery. The sprinkler system in the Confederate section was also repaired. Thanks to our members, Old City is really looking good and is something to be proud of.
