Confederate Memorial Day

The Kirby Smith Camp and the Martha Reid Chapter UDC invites all out to one of the camps oldest tradition. Confederate Memorial Day will be held at Evergreen Cemetery from 10:00am to 1:00pm. All are invited to come and help make this event one of the best for the year. If you have a Uniform please wear it as we will have a Cannon and Rifle Salute and all help is welcome with this, ill have extra powder and caps in case you need them. The Martha Reid UDC chapter will provide us with a Picnic following the ceremony, The camp is providing the Fried Chicken and if you want to bring a covered dish, we welcome that as well. We always walk away full and have a great time. Come and join us and help keep our longest tradition shinning above all.
